RichArt - Design/Build

 Design/Build is a concept that combines the functions of designing and building a construction project.  This process has a long history of success in the commercial and industrial construction markets.  Design/Build requires much greater design, management and sched-uling efforts but creates even greater efficiencies.  RichArt adopted these concepts years ago and has applied them to all types of pro-jects.  Our clients like the savings and great value realized and we like the customer satisfaction and smiles.

While we are very willing and pleased to work with clients who already have their plans and designs completed, we like the extra value of combining the design  and construction planning process.

A little background...

Designers/architects tend to create designs that emphasize beauty, form and function.  However they often do not have a full appreciation of the complexity and cost increases that result from the details they specify.  The builder is more pragmatic and seeks to simplify, eliminate the unnecessary, reduce construction time, material usage and other extra costs.  Both have valid points of view.  By blending the thoughts of both designer and builder at the same time a project can reach final design faster and can then be built with less conflict, confusion and costly change orders.  By blending the positive aspects of each we create a well thought out attractive design that is beautiful, practical, functional and packed with value.  It is this creased value that makes Design/Build so desirable.
